Paul Gentille creates digital fine art collage from original photography. The work begins with sometimes hundreds of photographic
images of gardens, arboretums, and historic sites. These images become his palette, transformed with digital layering, image
editing and painting tools. It is a long process including many additions and subtractions that make up the final presentation.
Paul's current work focuses on large scale triptychs that are placed together to form intriguing panoramas.
Paul is a self-taught artist who enjoys combining his love for digital photography with his skills in computer software.
Paul has exhibited at Visual Art Exchange, Fine Arts League of Cary, Raleigh Arts Commission MBAE, the Greenhill Center for
Art, and most recently in the North Carolina Artist's Exhibition at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts, juried
by Dr. Larry Wheeler.
