Billy Barnes is one of
America's most widely-published photographers. His work has been published in books
by more than 110 publishers and in more than 100 magazines including TIME, NEWSWEEK, FORTUNE, U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT,
THE NEW YORK TIMES, WOMAN'S DAY, USA TODAY WEEKEND, Delta Airlines' SKY MAGAZINE, BUSINESS WEEK, NATION'S BUSINESS, AMOCO
ADVENTURE ROAD, AND WORKING WOMAN.
A portfolio of Barnes'
documentary work is in the permanent collection of the U.S. Library of Congress and a much larger group of his copyrighted
images is archived in the North Carolina Collection at Wilson Library on the campus of the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
